Our Activities
Our aim is to influence the development of public policy so that wiping
out child poverty becomes a realistic and achievable objective. We do
this through:
- Advocating
for public policy changes to end child
poverty; and formulating and promoting public policies to end child poverty
- Seeking and attending meetings with appointed and elected representatives
- Producing
and disseminating awareness-raising materials on child poverty
- Working
with the media to highlight issues relating to child poverty
- Participating in conferences, seminars and public debates on child
poverty
- Working co-operatively with Coalition partners to ensure that child
poverty is a priority issue within each partner organisation, and that
information and resources on poverty are shared between partner organisations
